We are currently seeking an Assistant Group Supervisor – Assistant Childhood Development Teacher. Our Assistant Teachers help develop and implement program activities with the children. Naturally, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety of the children through constant supervision and effective room management. We work to create a pleasant and inviting environment for both the children and their families.
Some of your other responsibilities may include:
- Arranging materials so they are accessible to the children without adult help
- Selecting developmentally appropriate activities & equipment for the children
- Asking children questions to provoke thoughtful responses and problem solving
- Communicating with parents about the day-to-day activities
We are looking for candidates with a high school diploma (or GED), love of children and experience combined with secondary education.
