Job Summary
Come be a part of an AMAZING team of financial aid professionals here at Kutztown University! This position is a professional level position reporting to the director of Financial Aid Services. The primary area of responsibility would include oversight and management of our Federal and Private Loans including certification, disbursement, and reconciliation of all loan programs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team in providing timely and optimal financial aid services to our student and playing a key role in their retention here at the university.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and progressive experience working in Financial Aid is required, along with experience working with various financial aid systems: COD, NSLDS and FAMS systems. In addition, strong technical skills, including the ability to extract and organize information, as well as strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work independently are required. Cultural competency in working with diverse populations is encouraged.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree with a strong background in Federal and/or Alternative Loan processing, as well as experience working with Banner and ELM Resources systems. Direct experience with Federal Loans, which may have included loan changes, fund reconciliation, COD processing and NSLDS reporting is preferred. Experience in problem solving regarding Federal and Private Loans is highly desirable.

The starting salary for this SUA2 position is $53,360, per the SCUPA CBA.
