Assistant Director of Communications &Web Services

Reports to: Executive Director of Communications
The Assistant Director of Communication at Olympic College plays a pivotal role in the enhancement of our communication strategies through the effective use and administration of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and digital advertising campaigns. We seek a dynamic leader who can synergize with our existing team, bringing in innovative ideas that drive our mission forward.
Essential Functions
CRM System Management
• Oversee the administration, utilization, and optimization of our Salesforce CRM systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the CRM system.
• Train and support college staff on CRM use and best practices.
• Analyze CRM data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Executive Director of Communications and other key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in using and administering CRM systems, with a preference for those proficient in Salesforce.
Digital Advertising Leadership
• Develop, execute, and manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms.
• Analyze performance data to gauge campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest digital advertising trends, tools, and best practices.
• Proven track record in digital advertising, with a thorough understanding of best practices, tools, and trends.
Social Media
• Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the college's goals.
• Oversee the creation and curation of engaging content for various social media platforms.
• Design and execute advertising campaigns on social media platforms to include budget management, audience targeting and campaign optimization.
• Monitor social media channels for student and community engagement, providing responses to comments in a timely and responsive manner to maintain a positive community presence.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
• Collaborate with the communications team and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
• Assist the Executive Director of Communications in strategic planning and execution.
• Strong leadership qualities with a flair for team collaboration and mentorship.
• Monitor budgets related to CRM, digital advertising, and Communications Department.
• Participate in the college's Emergency Management Team as back up PIO.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of management experience.
  • A total of six years of relevant work experience.

Terms of Employment
This is a full-time exempt position scheduled to work Monday through Friday. The salary for this position is $73,752 to $81,127 DOE annually, which includes a generous benefits package that includes the following.
