Required

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in logistics, facilities and/or operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience in Logistical Operations, facilities management, operations management, maintenance operations, or similar areas, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
• Must be available to direct essential personnel emergency response work in the evening hours or on weekends, as needed.
• Knowledge of logistics principles, supply chain management, and inventory control with the ability to manage procurement services effectively.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and mandates.
• Skill in managing facilities administration functions, including asset management and facilities services.
• Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising Logistical Operations across different sections.
• Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to review work reports, analyze data, and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.
• Ability to identify and manage risks associated with Logistical Operations, compliance, and regulatory matters and apply a proactive active approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to assist with strategic planning initiatives and set short-, medium, and long-term goals for Logistical Operations.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
• Ability to make major decisions on complex technical and administrative matters.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including school staff, families, community members, and high-level officials.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Preferred

• Core Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) courses.
• Certified Logistics Professional (CPL).
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
