Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in logistics, facilities and/or operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience in Logistical Operations, facilities management, operations management, maintenance operations, or similar areas, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Must be available to direct essential personnel emergency response work in the evening hours or on weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of logistics principles, supply chain management, and inventory control with the ability to manage procurement services effectively.
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and mandates.
- Skill in managing facilities administration functions, including asset management and facilities services.
- Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising Logistical Operations across different sections.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to review work reports, analyze data, and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.
- Ability to identify and manage risks associated with Logistical Operations, compliance, and regulatory matters and apply a proactive active approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to assist with strategic planning initiatives and set short-, medium, and long-term goals for Logistical Operations.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
- Ability to make major decisions on complex technical and administrative matters.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including school staff, families, community members, and high-level officials.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
- Core Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) courses.
- Certified Logistics Professional (CPL).
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
