Join Our Team as Assistant Director, Contract Administration!
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to fill the role of Assistant Director of Contract Administration. As a key player in our Legal Department, reporting directly to our in-house General Counsel, you'll be at the forefront of managing and executing the day-to-day operations of Contract Management.
What You'll Be Doing: Develop and implement a cutting-edge contract policy for the effective management of client contracts. Ensure compliance with established contracting processes, including the enforcement of eligibility criteria for various funding sources. Function as a strategic liaison to the business, positioning yourself as a compliance leader. Set and manage the team's daily workflow and department metrics to drive success. Lead training efforts to educate our valued business partners on policies, processes, and procedures.
How you can expect to contribute:
- Design and implement comprehensive contract management processes, including the creation, execution, and storage of all client-facing contracts in the organization.
- Develop or create enhancements to standard operating procedures and policies to ensure flawless execution of day-to-day processes to create and achieve productivity metrics and performance goals.
- Interact with the sales, business development and client implementation teams, as well as clients, in the preparation, negotiation and execution of client contracts.
- Consult and resolve any issues relating to contract policy, contract documentation, pricing and billing corrections with internal partners and clients if required; ensuring that the end results are within guidelines and contract terms (to include communication at all business levels).
- Serve as primary "gatekeeper" responsible for ensuring contracts comply with organizational requirements, including that lease eligibility criteria are understood and enforced. Work with Legal team to update criteria and policies, as necessary.
- Serve as primary point of contact with leaders throughout the company to continually monitor service offerings to ensure they synchronize with contracts. Collaborate with leaders throughout the business to ensure that new service offerings are properly covered from a contracts/billing standpoint. Work closely with Legal to create new agreements to cover new service offerings.
- Review and audit contract documents and implementations to ensure quality control. Provide tracking and reporting, as necessary.
- Serve as primary liaison between Finance, Treasury, Operations and Legal in the creation and implementation of billing procedures from a systems and contracting standpoint. Assist in designing and adopting systems changes as well as the creation and implementation of contracting processes to match.
- Create and deliver formal and informal presentations to raise awareness of updates, issues, and actionable items within Contract Administration. Serve as primary individual responsible for training entire business on Contract Administration processes and procedures.
- Assess trends and developments in business to ensure that contracting processes and systems meet any requirements necessary to support client needs, compliance obligations or legal enforcement.
- Build and develop Contract Administration team as necessary to meet the company's goals.
