Overview

Christian Care Fellowship Square of Phoenix is hiring an Assistant Dining Room Supervisor. This position manages the Dining Room and supports all aspects of the mealtime service and the overall efficiency of the kitchen, Dining Room, and private Dining Room.

 

Job Description: 

Assist the Dining Room Director with the supervision and coordination activities of the Dining Room to ensure that quality food service is always provided in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations as well as the established policies and procedures within Christian Care.

Responsibilities

How you will make an impact: 

• Supervise waitstaff, and coach, and provide wonderful Dining Room experience for our Residents.
• Ensure proper portioning of food, attractive plate presentation, and service standards.
• Counsel employees.
• Orient and train personnel in Dining Room procedures.
• Assign work schedules and tasks and coordinate all activities of Dining Room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Supervise the organization and sanitation of the restaurant areas.
• Conduct regular in-service meetings.
• Ensure the dining staff works safely and adheres to the policies and procedures.
• Ensure that sanitation and safety standards are met.
• Follow regulations for safe handling of food and service items.

Qualifications

 

What you will need: 

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Supervisor experience.
• Must possess a food handler's card or attain one within 30 days of hire.
• The ability to communicate with our Residents and guests, in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Minimum of HS diploma or GED.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
