We are looking to fill an ASSISTANT COMMUNITY MANAGER position for a garden style property located in southeast DC. All Assistant Community Managers require the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Knowledge required:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of multifamily property management experience, preferably in the District of Columbia
• Expertise with rent collection and delinquencies in the District of Columbia
• Knowledge of District of Columbia Landlord/Tenant court proceedings
• Experience with income requirement and rent control calculations
• Tax Credit/LIHTC experience
• Managing maintenance coordination
• Yardi and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel and Word) proficiency

Skills and abilities required:

• A customer service enthusiast
• A "can do" attitude, with a high degree of energy and motivation
• Ability and eagerness for leasing apartments
• Excellent organizational skills
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• College degree or some college is preferred, but not required
