We are looking to fill an ASSISTANT COMMUNITY MANAGER position for a garden style property located in southeast DC. All Assistant Community Managers require the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Knowledge required:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of multifamily property management experience, preferably in the District of Columbia
- Expertise with rent collection and delinquencies in the District of Columbia
- Knowledge of District of Columbia Landlord/Tenant court proceedings
- Experience with income requirement and rent control calculations
- Tax Credit/LIHTC experience
- Managing maintenance coordination
- Yardi and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel and Word) proficiency
Skills and abilities required:
- A customer service enthusiast
- A "can do" attitude, with a high degree of energy and motivation
- Ability and eagerness for leasing apartments
- Excellent organizational skills
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- College degree or some college is preferred, but not required
