Job Description

As the Community Lifestyle Manager, you are highly engaged and play an integral role in coordination of resident programs to include recreational, social, and cultural entertainment designed to inspire and enrich the quality of life and enhance the vibrancy of Reed’s Crossing.
In this role you will have a combination of working in the office and being in the Reed’s Crossing Community networking and building relationships with current and prospective residents. Hours of work vary with frequent weekend, holiday, and/or evening hours required, including attendance at all resident and marketing events.
Requirements
Your Key Deliverables Include:
· Plan and execute various Reed’s Crossing events such as concerts, movies, and other seasonal events. Tasks include, but are not limited to, creating event site plans, researching, and hiring event vendors, designing event signage, supervising event logistics, and keeping the applicable stakeholders informed.
· Liaison to the General Manager and homeowners, frequently interacting with vendors, board members and committee members.
· Create annual events budget for recommendation to the Reed’s Crossing Maintenance Association Board. Report regularly to the Board regarding the financial performance of events.
· Maintain the official calendar for all events.
· Coordinate and edit e-blasts, newsletters, and TownSq. This includes composing and requesting articles and coordinating work with the newsletter design team.
· In conjunction with the Reed’s Crossing Social Committee, plan, coordinate and implement resident clubs, programs, classes, philanthropic opportunities, and special community-wide events to encourage rich connections, stimulate participation and generate awareness of the robust lifestyle programs offered.
· Coordinate meetings with the Brookfield Properties’ Marketing Team to discuss upcoming and past events to cross-promote and support community wide events and programs.
· Build & maintain relationships with other community organizations for the betterment of Reed’s Crossing, including but not limited to, local police, fire, and school organizations.
· Develop an active volunteer program among residents, providing for both promotion and recognition.
· Work closely with the Social Committee on event planning and execution, including attending their monthly weekend meetings.
· Various administrative functions that include tracking, reporting, support to the General Manager, and being the primary contact for homeowner inquiries.
Must Haves
· Prior experience working with non-profit or not-for-profit organizations preferred.
· 3+ years of experience coordinating and promoting recreational activities and programs, volunteer programs and/or fund-raising events.
· Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
· Proficient with MS Office and comfortable learning new computer programs.
· Strong time management & conflict resolution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
· Valid Oregon State Driver’s License and State Mandated Vehicle Insurance.
Nice to Haves
· Prior experience in recreation, hospitality, the communications field, or with homeowners’ association programs is an asset.
