Assistant Coach (Seasonal) Mens Golf

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Title: Assistant Coach (Seasonal) - Men's Golf
Department: Athletics
Reports to: HeadCoach
Status: Seasonal, Non-Benefit Eligible
Location: Lisle Campus
Position Summary: TheMen's Golf Assistant Coach position will be a seasonal position for the Fall& Spring seasons (part-time). Each season you will need to be rehired andpaperwork will need to be filled out.
Essential JobResponsibilities:
1. Knowledge of the Game of Golf, Played (HS orCollege) or Coached Golf (HS or College)
2. Assist Head Coach with Practices
3. Run Practices when Head Coach is with theWomen's Team at an Event.
4. Able to Drive BUS or Van to transport Men'sGolf Team Members to matches.
5. Help Head Coach identify potentialStudent/Athlete's for Recruitment to Benedictine
6. Stay current on NCAA Requirements/Rules
OtherFunctions:
Able to Assist in Athletics where needed.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate/GED Required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience: High School or College Coaching
Specific Skills: Played Golf in High School or College
Specific Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications: Yes. Pass Division 3 Rules Test Each Year
Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle varying levels of stress while maintaining professional demeanor. Possible lifting, bending, walking, kneeling, stretching, and stooping. Frequent districtwide and statewide travel; frequent prolonged and irregular hours; outdoor exposure to sun/heat or cold weather.
Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand. Understand the speech of another person.
