Job Title: Assistant Buyer- All Gender/ Licensed Categories

Primary Purpose: Strategic, operational Omni channel Assistant Buyer for North America Outlet- All Gender/ Licensed Categories


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to…

  • Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly selling reports to recap and analyze business, making recommendations for driving improved performance and identifying opportunities.
  • Partner with the Buyer to manage OTB, across multiple departments, to meet financial targets and productivity metrics at the SKU level for performance, sales, inventory, receipt and margin targets
  • Assist in executing quarterly buys to meet financial targets and global offer with potential to manage buys independently over time
  • Manage SKU lifecycle from adoption to delete, react to in season sales/learnings to determine go forward strategy and actions
  • Build and maintain assortment tools and sku counts season after season
  • Continuously analyze and assist in reforecasting business while suggesting strategies to ensure plan is achieved, including adjusting product flow and inventory management
  • Assist in working with Inventory Management and Allocation to ensure that distributions meet turn goals, support marketing calendar and maximize profitability
  • Influence category assortments by analyzing product performance, customer feedback/data, consumer trends, competitive landscape and local market knowledge to global merchants/design
  • Assist in partnering with Ecommerce Merchandising, Marketing, Product Knowledge, Visual Merchandising and Store Operations teams to create synergies among all consumer touch points
  • Partner with field team to solicit qualitative feedback on product, customers, store environments & competition


The accomplished individual will possess…

  • B.A. or B.S. preferred
  • Strong analytical and recap skills
  • Self-motivated and diligent in completing and initiating tasks
  • Detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Team player with a focus on collaboration
  • Highly skilled in Excel and proficient learner of planning and buying systems
  • 1-2 years of Buying or Planning experience strongly preferred
