Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system
- Handle cash and process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food to guests' tables
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Experience in the food industry preferred but not required
- Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Exceptional customer service and guest relations skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus
