We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager who will ensure that all branch operations run efficiently and effectively.
What will your day look like? You will:
- Responsible for team leadership, customer service and overall operations management of the branch;
- Assist branch staff with customer issues; work with the Branch Manager to ensure any issues are resolved.
- Supervise the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with company policy.
- Responsible for the branch meeting regulatory compliance and satisfactory audit results.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of all regulations pertaining to the savings department which includes insurance of accounts, account vesting, EFT limits, dormant accounts, and all retail bank compliance regulations.
- Prepare and conduct training on regulations, computer procedures and other areas as required.
- Provide support to the branch staff by assisting with opening new accounts, answering phones, signing checks and providing overrides as needed.
- Works in conjunction with senior management to ensure proper knowledge of all relative compliance topics, monitor activities and report issues.
- Follow directions from management and Chief Compliance Officer for resolution of issues
What you will need for this position:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.): three to five years' banking experience and/or training;
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires management experience and retail banking experience.
