We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager who will ensure that all branch operations run efficiently and effectively.

What will your day look like? You will:

• Responsible for team leadership, customer service and overall operations management of the branch;
• Assist branch staff with customer issues; work with the Branch Manager to ensure any issues are resolved.
• Supervise the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with company policy.
• Responsible for the branch meeting regulatory compliance and satisfactory audit results.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of all regulations pertaining to the savings department which includes insurance of accounts, account vesting, EFT limits, dormant accounts, and all retail bank compliance regulations.
• Prepare and conduct training on regulations, computer procedures and other areas as required.
• Provide support to the branch staff by assisting with opening new accounts, answering phones, signing checks and providing overrides as needed.
• Works in conjunction with senior management to ensure proper knowledge of all relative compliance topics, monitor activities and report issues.
• Follow directions from management and Chief Compliance Officer for resolution of issues

What you will need for this position:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.): three to five years' banking experience and/or training;
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires management experience and retail banking experience.
