Assistant Branch Manager Retail Sales Operations
Reports to
Branch Manager
Mission/Purpose of the Job
To assist the Branch Manager in achieving branch sales and financial performance while achieving personal sales objectives. This position is expected to learn all aspects of running a retail branch for future reassignment.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Continued sales, reduced quota with increased operational responsibilities.
- Participate in the hiring and training of new sales associates.
- Assist in the daily operations with decision making authority.
- Participates in and leads weekly sales meetings.
- Assists Branch Manager in driving sales, implementing strategies for continual branch improvement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with wholesalers, dealers, and auction companies.
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with customers, addressing customer service issues as necessary.
- Assist in controlling branch reconditioning costs and vendor relationships.
- Assist in the branch marketing and advertising efforts.
- Perform all duties of the Branch Manager in cases of absence.
- Work as a backup to sales on phone, floor, and lot days and/or closings (as needed only)

- PERSONAL PROFILE
Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years in Sales Lead role or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- Proven experience in sales and customer service.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
