How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Lead, supervise, evaluate, manage, motivate and train up to 10 drivers. Plans and prepares work schedules. Dispatch all route and call in orders. Maintain Airgas Dock Stock Program. Maintain all DOT files. Ensure all drivers fill out and turn in all required forms daily. Conduct month end cylinder physical inventory. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are upheld and followed, and any incidents and or accidents are reported immediately. Provide assistance to counter and or inside sales when required.
In particular, you will:
- Lead, supervise, evaluate, manage, motivate and train up to 10 drivers.
- Ensure all customers receive quality customer service from company employees.
- Demonstrate full knowledge of all order-entry, data research and other computer skills necessary to service customers.
- Maintain all month end reports, DOT files and drivers time.
- Dispatch all route and call in orders.
- Ensure customer inquiries related to billing problems, cylinder balances, order status, time of delivery, etc. are promptly and courteously handled, providing follow-up as necessary.
- Maintain cylinder stock levels by using Airgas Dock Stock Program.
- Lead and promote safety, organize weekly safety meetings and strictly enforce safety rules.
- Complete month end cylinder physical inventory.
- Receive and return phone calls, faxes, inquiries, etc. from customers and vendors.
- Establish vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Ensure loads manifests are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shippers.
- Ensure subordinate complaints, grievances, etc. are effectively handled.
