SalaryMendon Truck Leasing and Rental, a branch of PETIT FORESTIER GROUP, a full-service leasing and rental company and a leader in the refrigerated fleet market, is searching for a full-time Assistant Branch Manager with vehicle leasing experience to work in our Hunts Point, Bronx location.
The Assistant Branch Manager reports to the Branch Manager and maintains customer relations by estimating or quoting all repairs, notifying customer of additional repairs needed, addressing customer complaints, and resolving them within the same day, if possible, and notifying customer of any changes in work status regarding their equipment.
- Review check in and check out sheets and report any new damage.
- Assist in interviewing, training, and evaluating personnel.
- Maintain an accurate dispatch log (rentals).
- Lead by example and ensure company policies and procedures are being followed.
- Ensure accurate and timely rental billing.
- Assist with customer service to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations.
- Assist with performing administrative tasks on an as needed basis.
- Perform clerical tasks such as updating account records, processing data and inputting data into the computer.
- Assist service team with scheduling service appointments.
- Order supplies for the shop and office.
- Manage daily operation of the branch, such as employees’ schedule.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Ensure facility is kept clean and orderly.
- Act as Manager in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Lead inventory control and manage stock to ensure efficient operations of the branch.
Working Conditions:
- Shop, office, yards, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 50 to 75 lbs.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $85,000-$95,000/year
