Job Description
Summary: Managing and leading an active team to create a professional and safe environment in which to deliver all Big Cedar Lodge activities. Assist with effectively managing all financial aspects of the active operation, encourage staff development and achieve/exceed instruction and service quality targets.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, supervising and coordination of the daily operations.
- Prepare new hires onboarding and assist with training new employees.
- Assist in ordering, receiving, and maintaining an appropriate inventory of activity and office supplies.
- Prepare a variety of administrative/operations reports and records; timesheets, daily finances, inventories, cash reports and checkbook.
- Monitor Activities Attendant’s service to ensure that appropriate quality standards are maintained.
- Communicate regularly with the Activities Manager and other Big Cedar Lodge personnel to plan, coordinate, and evaluate activities, exchange information and resolve problems.
- Work through a variety of special problems that arise in daily operations related to inventory, purchasing, personnel and equipment.
- Ensure there are no daily open balances for activities going unpaid.
- Always provide superior service to our Big Cedar Lodge guests.
- Builds relationships with internal partners to ensure marketing programs are integrated and aligned to the organization’s objectives.
- Assist with managing all budgeting and compliance processes for Activities.
- Respond to telephone and e-mail inquiries regarding Activities.
- Ensure organization is maintained in all storage areas.
- Assist with working deliveries from warehouse and getting ordered supplies to correct storage location.
- Remain current with all pertinent computer software programs and equipment relative to the job- Delphi, Outlook, Excel, Sortly, Word and Yellow Dog.
- Perform other tasks as needed, directed, or assigned.
