Job Description
We are looking for a full time, self motivated individual who has experience auditing job site operational procedures and investigating incidents without violating one's right to privacy. An ideal candidate will have experience using/reviewing live and recorded surveillance coverage. Must be able to secure licensing through state (DOJ) and local police departments. This position will report to multiple worksites in the LA area. Additional information regarding our clients will be provided to those selected for an interview.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Regularly working with management to ensure operational policies and regulatory requirements are followed at multiple 24hr worksites.
- Observing activities at 24 hr worksites at different days/times to continuously identify discrepancies in procedure, failures to comply with policy, suspicious activity, collect investigative intelligence including for training purposes, detect fraud/theft, and further business objectives
- Keeping the Surveillance Manager/Director informed of surveillance reviews, including notifications prior to making major decisions
- Timely preparing and maintaining accurate and detailed reports using approved Company methods of incidents, observations, and activities per policy
- Ability to learn to operate different types of surveillance equipment (cameras, computer workstations, printers, etc.)
- Ability to identify actions or behaviors that could represent a safety or Asset Protection risk.
- Observes and reports all discrepancies to the proper departments.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while at client properties and while using client equipment per policy
- Other job related duties as assigned.

- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by telephone/radio, and via email
- Must be able to write clear and grammatically accurate reports
- Ability to learn report writing and footage retention
- Must be computer savvy
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Be proactive and accountable
- Must be available to work various shifts including grave, weekends, and holidays
Per DOJ regulations, disqualifiers include felony convictions (no matter how long ago) or a misdemeanor conviction involving dishonesty or moral turpitude within 10 years of application to DOJ.
