Job Introduction
Designs, develops and improves new or existing product and assist in the building and testing of prototype vehicles.
Major Responsibilities
- Develops and builds product relating to the customer needs.
- Assists the engineering department with regard to product redesign to resolve product difficulties.
- Maintains material stock and inventories and advises material requisitions. Inspect, diagnose repair and/or replace vehicle operating system (air conditioning, powertrain, suspension, brakes etc.)
- Operate a vehicle lift
- Experience installation wiring harnesses and thermal hose systems
- Experience performing, and the use of power tools required, to modify sheet metal and plastic components; this includes A-surface components
- Ability to view and interpret CAD images
- General knowing of interior and exterior vehicle assembly, service, and aftermarket modifications
Knowledge and Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Hi-lo license, crane operator license.
- Welding certification required.
- Journeyman or Apprenticeship preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years’ experience in an automotive environment, preferred.
- Experience working in a team environment is highly desired.
Skills and Competencies

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
