ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN- Machined Parts and Assemblies.
Primary Job Duties
- PERFORM ALL FUNCTIONS COMMON TO SIMPLE ASSEMBLIES Including but not limited to:
- Installation of screw thread inserts (Helicoils) in precision parts per specifications.
- Installation of components such as screws and nuts using torque wrenches where applicable.
- Installation of electrical components may be required.
- Pressing and installation of dowel and other pins.
- Installing O-rings, gaskets and bearings
- Part marking of items with Ink and rubber stamps
- Cosmetic cleanup of precision parts
- Sandblasting of parts (within a cabinet)
- Deburring and FOD detection.
Job requirements
- Manual dexterity.
- Detail orientated
- Must have the ability to work efficiently
- Must be a team player, must be able to follow assembly instructions, standard operating and quality assurance procedures, and be able to read and understand engineering drawings. You must be a self-starter and be able to work in a team setting.
- You must have an outstanding work ethic
