Position Overview:
Ferrera Tooling is seeking a Technical Assembler who combines technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and an engineering mindset. The selected candidate will play a critical role in the assembly and production of space flight components, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Aerospace Component Assembly:
- Execute the assembly of intricate aerospace components using technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand and interpret design requirements, ensuring the accurate assembly of complex systems.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough quality checks throughout the aerospace component assembly process, identifying and rectifying discrepancies or defects.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to implement continuous improvement initiatives, upholding Ferrera Tooling's commitment to aerospace product excellence.
- Problem Solving in Aerospace Manufacturing:
- Apply an engineering mindset to actively participate in problem-solving activities related to assembly challenges and design modifications.
- Provide constructive feedback to the engineering team, suggesting potential design improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain meticulous records of aerospace component assembly processes, modifications, and quality control measures.
- Generate detailed reports on assembly activities, highlighting areas for improvement and proposing effective solutions.
- Collaboration within Aerospace Manufacturing Teams:
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional aerospace manufacturing teams, including engineers, designers, and production managers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Participate in team meetings, sharing valuable insights and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Aerospace Technical Assembler or in a similar role within the aerospace manufacturing sector.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering aerospace components of the highest quality.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an aerospace manufacturing team.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
