Diesel Technician

Matthews-Currie Ford located in Nokomis, FL is looking for driven, talented, and dedicated individuals seeking long term employment and growth.Our dealership has a full service center and parts department in order to provide value added service to our customers' automotive needs long after the purchase is complete.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform line technician/diesel engine service.
• Routine inspection/maintenance.
• System diagnostics.
• Full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
• Continuously expand your knowledge of new technology and practice.
• Perform road tests for diagnosis of customer's complaint and verification of repair.
• Work as a team along with the service staff communicating customers' vehicle needs.
• Attend manufacturer specific training classes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ford/Lincoln certifications strongly preferred.
• Prior experience as a Ford/Lincoln/Diesel technician preferred.
• Excellent mechanical, diagnostic & electrical skills.
• Be able to use computers and technology to communicate with and diagnose vehicles electrical/electronic systems.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• Have a valid driver's license.
