Description
The Assembly & Quality Control Manager will oversee operations of the entire production team associated with device manufacturing and inspection. The manager is ultimately responsible for establishing weekly, monthly, and annual planned build numbers for all Zynex Medical Inc. devices produced in accordance with established work instructions, policies, and procedures, based on demand.
In this role, you represent the Zynex brand. This means you are responsible for providing a world-class experience to all "customers" in every interaction, every time. Every decision made must align to our mission, vision, and strategy. Every communication sent (through email, mail, or by phone) is to be professional, simple, and aligned. Every problem or bottleneck is to be resolved with an efficient solution that is consistent with our strategy.

Essential Job Duties & Reporting Responsibilities:
New Hire Onboarding & Staff Training
  • Provide a seamless on-boarding experience from New Hire Orientation (NHO) into your department, including a structured on-boarding plan for at least the first week in the department.
  • Report your team's training needs to your direct Manager regularly to ensure additional support and resources are provided in a timely manner.

Leadership
    • Model aligned leadership behavior, always communicating with utmost professionalism, and following all company policies/process without exception.
    • Observe, document, and report all occurrences of employees when there is non-compliance with company policy, process, or following appropriate chain of command.
  • Build, oversee, and drive the Assembly & QC production team.
  • Establish attainable key performance indicators (KPIs) of all assigned personnel which are tracked and reported weekly.
  • Collaborate with Assembly Lead(s) to finalize KPIs and expectations for core contributors weekly. Adjust as necessary to meet all department expectations.
  • Develop and implement training that promotes professional growth while ensuring efficiency and flow associated with every production process and procedure.
  • Improve your team's morale by fostering a growth plan for each team member through proactive feedback, coaching and mentoring to drive increased process efficiency, productivity, and quality of work (bias to technology solutions).
  • Identify, propose, and implement solutions for manufacturing bottlenecks within the department to improve efficiencies.
  • Effectively manage employee concerns and implement plans to address with aligned support from the Director of Production.
  • Ensure the completion of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories within Assembly & QC.
  • Coordinate the completion of Contract Manufacturing builds for device PCBA's with Assembly & QC.
  • Collaborate with the Production Engineers on all material, assembly, and final testing matters that negatively impact production capabilities from a quality and functionality perspective.
  • Monitor current workload and plan for future requirements based upon growth plans to ensure adequate staffing.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree, with master's degree or higher preferred. Equivalent Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • 3+ years of Managerial or management experience, supervising a team of 5+ employees.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:
  • Fast-Paced, high-volume office environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Proficient use of office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones.
  • Proficiency with office computers and Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via spoken, written and electronic means.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
