What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for:
Estimates, requisitions, andinspectsmaterials to meet production goals.
Examinesitems produced to determine if items meet specifications.
Position parts in specified relationship to each other using general knowledge of product and/or using bills of materials.
Operates drill presses, punch presses, and/or various power tools to assist in theassembly operation. Mustbe able to fasten parts together using bolts, screws, and clips.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards.
Must be proficient at multiplework stationsso they may work at different stations as productionneedrequire.
Assist with training of new employees.
Ability to meet the established Advanced Assembler requirements.
Continually strive to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
Maintainscleanand safe working environmentin accordance with 5S standards.
Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Abilityto read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Abilityto write simple correspondence.
Abilityto effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and percentages.
Abilityto apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Abilityto deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
