Location: Cedar Park, TX 78613

Pay Rate: $17.00

Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-4:30pm

Description:

Ascend Staffing is now hiring immediately for our Assembly job in Cedar Park, TX.

Assembly Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• Reviews work order and prints

• Assembles electronic filters

• Wraps thick copper wire around inductor cores per blueprints

• Solders filter parts such as resistors and inductors to appropriate parts

• Strip copper coating off wires

• Test inductors and ensure all parts are to spec

Welder Helper Shift Info

• Day Shift, 6:00 am to 04:30 pm

• Monday - Friday

Welder Helper Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• Ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams

• Good hand and arm strength to wrap copper wires around inductors

• Experience with hand tools, power tools and measuring devices such as calipers and a tape measure

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US
