Position Description:
- This position is located within our Flexible Assembly Operation at our Livonia, MI facility.
- Roush Flexible Assembly provides assembly services to many of the leading-edge companies in the automotive industry.
- Products we produce for our customers consist of Off-Road tactical military vehicles, self-driving autonomous vehicles & electric vehicles just to name a few.
- These low volume, highly technical projects make for a very exciting work environment where you learn cutting edge technology on a regular basis.

Qualifications
- 6 months of recent hands-on Automotive Assembly experience or equivalent schooling (i.e., H.S. Auto Shop / Trade School)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must understand automotive systems.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be able to use manual tools and power equipment safely.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Must possess the skills to read, comprehend and execute written procedures.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must have reliable attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends.
- Must have basic tools.
Preferred Skills
- Previous mechanic or co-op experience preferred.
- Automotive electrical systems experience a plus
