Summary: The Assembler position is responsible for interpreting job instructions, removing pieces, assembling and gluing production parts. Responsibilities include ensuring precise measurements, following assembly processes, and inspecting parts. The position requires meeting certain physical qualifications to fulfill the job duties. Our shifts are: 1st shift: 6am-2pm, Monday through Friday and 2nd shift: 2pm to midnight, Monday-Thursday.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Study and interpret assembly instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
- Assemble tools and materials using required equipment and/or chemicals.
- Interpret measurements.
- Positions parts and subassemblies.
- Follow assembly instructions and processes to build products.
- Inspect and verify all parts for orders.
- Glue, position and align components and parts either manually or with a press.
Qualifications:
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; pull product; focus on product for long periods of time.
- Must be able to handle chemicals used in production/assembly, such as glue, bonding and sprays, etc.
- The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move products, sometimes up to 25 pounds.
Ability to use computer to get job information and log job information.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
