Asphalt paving operators/laborers

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Laborer/Operator to join our team. asphalt rolling experience preferred. As a Laborer/Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing various construction tasks, and assisting with asphalt installation. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience in operating commercial vehicles and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid loaders, rollers, trucks, etc.
- Assist with prep and installation of asphalt projects
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Experience:
- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
