Role Overview:
Netflix Game Studio is looking for an experienced ASO Manager to join us in delivering the next generation of mobile games to a worldwide audience. This role is a part of the Games Optimization Marketing team, optimizing the discovery and conversion rates of Netflix Games on the App Store and Google Play. We are looking for an analytically strong and proven ASO expert who wants to directly impact the business's growth through state-of-the-art, innovative ASO strategies and techniques. You will work closely with the Marketing teams, Strategic Partnerships, Product, Creative Studio, Launch Operations, Release Management, and more across the Netflix organization to help potential players discover and install games from both our internal studios and external portfolio.
In this role you will:
- Manage the entire cycle of ASO activities for multiple titles across Google Play and the App Store, increasing discoverability and maximizing conversion rate.
- Implement the A/B testing strategy from beginning to end, building a roadmap and hypothesis, briefing and providing feedback on creative assets, applying tests, analyzing and communicating results, and closely monitoring the long-term impact on the stores.
- Implement the textual metadata optimization strategy for all the markets: from keyword research to keyword analysis and localization.
- Begin to build and execute a broader ASO strategy for Netflix games, identifying shared learning opportunities across titles.
- Establish and continuously evolve ASO best practices for Netflix games, working closely with internal stakeholders to share learnings across platforms.
- Identify games in the portfolio with the highest need for ASO. Undertake ad-hoc research, analysis, and audits for a selection of new titles.
- Work alongside the UA team to ensure a consistent user funnel from ad impression to install. Work closely with Marketing Art to brief and provide feedback on app store assets.
- Collaborate with Strategic Partnerships to help shape Netflix Games’ approach to featuring, in-app events, and promotional content.
- Maintain a concise and organized database of ASO results and learnings to share with the broader organization, using this data to inform future strategy.
We are looking for:
- 5+ years ASO experience.
- A deep understanding of app store algorithms, optimization methods, and effective strategies for improving app stores performance and growing app installs.
- Comfortable presenting and communicating technical ASO concepts and statistical tests to an audience with limited ASO knowledge.
- Experience working with and managing relationships with ASO partner tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, Data.ai, etc.
- Experience driving big-picture strategy and execution to support a scaling ASO team.
- Very strong interpersonal skills, including building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams in remote locations, and with external vendors.
- Excellent sense of accountability and ownership. High level of attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on mentality.
- Comfortable with project management, working within fast-paced environments, and delivering on multiple simultaneous projects.
Location: US, CAN - Remote, EST Preferred

Compensation
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $150,000 - $500,000 USD.
