Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and flexible Hardware Test Intern who is hands-on and excited to jump into a variety of roles as needed. The job will involve a variety of Hardware Testing including – functional and experimental testing of in-house prototype integrated circuits (ICs), printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other off-the-shelf components. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about integrated circuit design and Hardware Testing in a lab environment.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Participate in verification of RF/Analog Integrated Circuit designs for low noise sensor applications

· Take data of test circuits on ICs and PCBs using both standard measurement hardware as well as custom-built systems

· Analyze data and collaborate with team members to determine next experimental steps

· Document and present simulation/testing results to the team

Preferred Qualifications:

· Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree program in the field of Electrical Engineering

· Experience with Cadence IC design tools

· RF or Analog circuit experience in design and test

· Hands-on experience in a laboratory or engineering environment

· Strong written and oral communication skills
