We are looking for a skilled Master Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and advise assistant mechanics on how to tackle the problem. You will be responsible for diagnosing and advising on repair strategies with the rest of the team. We are looking for individuals with extensive experience at troubleshooting check engine codes, electrical issues and ideally with ASE certification. More novice master technicians may apply as well (with certifications).
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately via scanning tools, repair software and schematics
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and possibly reprogram
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
- Keep logs on work and issues
Skills
- Proven experience as auto mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
Main Vehicle types
- Domestic and Japanese are main focus. European experience is a plus but not required
- Honda, Toyota, Acura, Lexus, Chrysler, Chevy, Dodge, Jeep, Ford
Pay is based on skillset, work experience, certifications etc and is competitive, encourage all to apply especially those with experience

Salary: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
