ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • This position requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or status as a U.S. Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
  • This is an on-site role, and remote work arrangements are not available. Candidates must be willing and able to work at our facility during designated working hours.

Position Summary

The Ascension Lift Plan Reviewer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful integration of Ascension wheelchair lifts into architectural plans. This position involves reviewing plans, recommending lift models, suggesting modifications to plans, researching building codes, creating CAD drawings, collaborating with the design engineering team, and managing data within Ascension's ERP system. The role may also entail generating customer quotes and adapting to additional tasks as required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examine architectural plans and specifications for Ascension wheelchair lift applications.

• Provide lift model recommendations based on architectural plans, tailoring solutions to specific needs.

• Identify necessary plan changes to accommodate Ascension wheelchair lifts.

• Research state and local building codes to ensure lift installations meet all applicable regulations.

• Utilize CAD software to create drawings for standard wheelchair lifts, with no prior CAD experience required.

• Collaborate closely with Ascension's design engineering department for custom or complex applications.

• Accurately input wheelchair lift information into Ascension's ERP system.

• Prepare wheelchair lift quotes for customers adhering to Ascension's guidelines and pricing structures.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned or as the situation demands, adapting to changing priorities.

• Follows all ISO (International Organization for Standardization) procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and one to two years related experience and/or training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and sit. The employee is also required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
