A lovely high profile family in the West Village is seeking a second rotational nanny to join their team and care for their 1.5-year-old child. This position is live-out, and candidates must be local to NYC. While on duty, the work schedule is Sunday-Saturday, 7am-7pm with availability for later evenings or overnights as needed. The rotation length for this role may vary from 4 days on/off, up to 3 weeks on/off, depending on the family's travel schedule, so candidates should be flexible. While the family primarily resides in NYC, they also travel for work and typically spend several months per year in Los Angeles. While traveling, accommodations will be provided.Duties for this role will encompass everything related to the child and their care, including supervising meal and sleep schedules, planning and executing activities and outings, taking them to scheduled classes and appointments, and keeping their belongings neat and organized. This is a busy and fully staffed home, so candidates should be a team player and work well with others. The family is seeking someone with a laid-back and calm personality who has a strong understanding of childhood development and years of toddler/preschooler experience. Both parents are involved and are in and out as their schedules allow, so candidates should be comfortable with that dynamic and should understand when to step in and out as needed. Prior high-profile experience is strongly preferred for this role. The family is seeking someone with a degree in a child related field such Early Childhood Development or Elementary Education- this is required. The ideal candidate for this role will be professional, discreet, and engaging and assertive with children. The family has a very solid existing team and is seeking a nanny who wants to join them long-term. Swimming is required for this role, as is current CPR certification. All candidates must be COVID vaccinated and boosted, and must be willing to get a yearly flu shot. The ability to drive would be ideal but is not required. The offered rate for this position is $40-55/hr. and will include all applicable overtime, as well as benefits such as PTO, and medical insurance or stipend.
