Job Description

As the AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists to develop, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge AI/ML solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, define AI/ML project goals, and drive the implementation of innovative AI/ML solutions to solve complex business challenges. Additionally, you will stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and professional growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for applying AI/ML technologies to address challenges and drive business value.Define project goals, scope, and deliverables for AI/ML initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of AI/ML models, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.Implement best practices for AI/ML model development, including data governance, feature engineering, model evaluation, and deployment strategies.Drive continuous improvement in AI/ML processes and workflows, leveraging automation and optimization techniques to enhance efficiency and scalability.Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, tools, and techniques, and evaluate their potential applicability to business problems.Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate project status, key findings, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.Establish and maintain partnerships with external vendors, research institutions, and industry experts to foster innovation and stay ahead of industry trends.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the AI/ML team, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Qualifications :

+ Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is a plus.

+ Proven experience 5 years in leading AI/ML teams, driving the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions in a production environment.

+ At least 3 years' experience in people management.

+ Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms, techniques, and frameworks, with hands-on experience in model development, training, and deployment.

+ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and experience with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.

+ Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and technologies for building scalable and reliable AI/ML solutions in cloud environments.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive results.

+ Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management practices.

+ Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions for specific domains such as healthcare, finance, e-commerce, etc.

+ Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing frameworks.

+ Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML model deployment.

+ Publications or contributions to the AI/ML community, such as research papers, open-source projects, or participation in conferences and workshops.

+ Experience in mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $123950 - $190900 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
