The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Business Success Leader to join the team in Berkeley, MO.
The successful candidate will join a large, diverse matrixed team that includes Boeing, Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), associates, customers, and suppliers. As a key member of the program leadership team, the IT Business Success Leader (IT BSL) will work directly with businesses and functions to understand key initiatives and represent the business and functions within IT to engage the right resources, explore alternatives and deploy the right solutions.
The IT BSL leads and collaborates with partner and government IT teams to deploy and maintain systems at multiple work locations. The IT BSL also supports active campaigns, optimize IT costs and ensure the solutions are secure and compliant. The successful candidate should be comfortable building a strategic vision for the program, and equally comfortable managing day to day tasks and issues that need resolution.

Position Responsibilities:
Oversees and acts as an internal consultant for liaison activities at a strategic/enterprise level between the business or function and IT and related organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure the most complex of business objectives are met
Leads the education of the Business’ senior leadership on IT service offerings
Collaborates directly with business or function to understand problems or initiatives, and represents the business or function within IT at the highest levels to engage the right resources, explores alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time quality
Directs the development and execution of communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders
Oversees the identification of risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function senior leadership to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments
Provides input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensures alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function
Accounts for the dollars spent, funding, and affordability in support of their applicable business unit(s) or function(s)
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience supporting technologies and business
Experience with defense products and services
Experience fulfilling and enabling requests
Experience with defense products and services
Experience with documenting need for Future Production System, high priority and focus area of the Digital Transformation Program
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $135,150 – $182,850
