What you get to do every day

- Collaborate with the development team to design, test, implement, and maintain updates within company databases and applications necessary to streamline/automate a business process.

- Define a road map and high-level goals associated with the project.

- Lead and/or aid in the design, development and implementation of project policies and standardized processes to improve and/or establish best practices for efficiency and consistency.

- Lead planning, initiation and discovery activities across cross-functional teams and stakeholders to effectively manage program scope and execution of value delivery for key initiatives, and communicate status of the project to senior management.

- Plan and complete pre-deployment user acceptance testing that is specific to the project with the Deployment Manager.

- Document project work across all teams through visualizations.

- Keep track of project costs.

- Identify and analyze all risks that might impact the completion of a project milestone, and establish risk mitigation strategies.

- Validate data and create reports.- Identify business objectives and desired outcomes, outline key results and establish/monitor KPIs to show progress and measure the value of delivery.

- Key point of contact for communication within stakeholder groups - responsible for establishing governance, proactively building awareness of the program and outcomes, and securing sponsorship.

- Create awareness through workshops, process and value stream mapping activities, document inputs/outputs of complex workflows, understand dependencies, highlight waste and illustrate value delivered.

- Lead conversations and generate alignment to mitigate risks, manage dependencies and remove roadblocks across the program

Master’s degree or above in Statistics Economics Data Science or related field.

4-5 years related work experience including two to three years specializing in machine learning and cloud computing.

Intermediate proficiency in one or more programming languages including R Python Spark and others

Proven experience working as a data/AI Product Owner or managing data/AI projects using Agile processes

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills able to explain complicated AI models using easy to understand language

Progressive thinking and problem solving with a strong ability to manage ambiguity/complexity
