Position overview:

The Operations Manager is at the heart of operations for Covey Security, whose responsibilities include scheduling and managing security officers and site supervisors, reporting to management daily incidents, working with clients on their security needs, assisting in the hiring and payroll process. An operations manager will show polite and professional communication skills, be detailed oriented and open to accepting new challenges.

Additional duties:

• Act as a liaison with our clients to ensure consistent communication and immediate responses to our clients' security needs.
• Ensure company policies and requirements are consistently applied and enforced at each site.
• Create, update, and provide detailed and comprehensive written security procedures (post orders).
• Work with the Senior Operations manager and Site Supervisors on scheduling and compliance.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
• This position shall have on-call responsibilities and may require post duties as needed.
• Consistent availability to clients and their security needs as warranted.

Experience

Prior experience as an Operations Manager or leading large and diverse teams is a plus.

The qualified candidate will have had at least 3 years of supervisory work in the security field with at least 10 direct reports.

• Level 1 fingerprint clearance card through AZDPS
• Facility agent card through AZDHS
• Certified Firearms Safety Instructor certification (NRA / AZDPS)
• Armed / Unarmed Guard card trainer
• Risk Assessment experience
• Use of Force and De-escalation Training
• CPR / AED
• Range qualifications and refresher training

Military/Veteran and Law Enforcement Experience is a plus for any position at Covey Security.
