Functions Supervised: Area Branch Services Support
Primary Functions: Support the Area Vice President in achieving the credit union’s business and financial objectives through the delivery of exceptional service and sales performance within the assigned area. Focus on building lasting member relationships through a consultative approach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coaching and Best Practices
- Collaborate with the Area Vice President to enhance service and sales performance by providing in-branch coaching and implementing best practices.
- Staff Coordination
- Monitor branch staffing levels and coordinate schedules for senior branch services specialist to cover absences, vacant positions, and branch requirements.
- Team Leadership
- Coach, lead, and motivate senior branch services specialists, promoting their active participation in area service and sales delivery.
- Meetings and Communication
- Assist in recurring branch manager and assistant branch manager meetings, as well as conduct recurring senior branch services specialist meetings.
- Staffing and Training
- Support the selection and hiring of area staff, facilitate onboarding, coordinate initial staff training, and identify and develop area mentors to assist with ongoing training needs.
- Operational Efficiency
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of branch operations and recommend branch workflow improvements to streamline processes. Conduct branch compliance audits as assigned and collaborate with the Area Vice President to address any deficiencies.
- Administrative Duties
- Assist the Area Vice President with branch audit responses, personnel actions, and performance evaluations.
- Community Engagement
- Represent the credit union in community, professional, and trade associations as assigned. Identify additional community engagement opportunities within the area.
- Event Coordination
- Assist in coordinating staffing, training, and scheduling for area community events, trade shows, and volunteer opportunities.
- Branch Manager Duties
- Perform the duties of a branch manager when required.
- Area Oversight
- Oversee area responsibilities in the absence of the Area Vice President.
- Additional duties
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business-related field.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: A minimum of four years related supervisory or management experience.
Experience/Skills: Strong communication, personnel management and time management skills required. Ability to effectively engage with staff to identify needs and influence multiple teams to meet or exceed member experience expectations. Self-motivated, confident, embraces change and ability to multitask effectively is necessary. Prior experience in leading and developing staff into leadership positions, achieving and exceeding service and sales goals. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Salary Pay Range: $82,171 - $137,981 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
