Job Title: Area Maintenance – Housekeeping Supervisor
Type of Position: Seasonal, Full-Time
Schedule: Five days/nights/week, includes weekends/holidays, with varying day and night hours
Pay: $23.40 - 26.00

Summary
Responsible for overall cleanliness, tidiness, and up-keep of the Ski Area restrooms, common spaces, offices, etc. Will be responsible for evening housekeeping crew members for both the Basin and Valley base area facilities. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities.
Essential Functions
· Assist Housekeeping Manager with training of and supervising team of housekeepers working day and evening shifts.
· Oversee and assist in maintaining restrooms, floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures of common areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
· Stock sanitary supplies for such areas.
· Accept deliveries of bulk supplies and stock these supplies in appropriate locations.
· Gather waste and trash from around the ski area for transport to pick-up locations.
· Assist Housekeeping Manager with developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining department safety programs including job hazard assessments, training, documentation, etc.
Requirements:Requirements/Qualifications
· Supervisory experience, preferably supervising off hours shifts.
· Experience housekeeping in a commercial setting with public areas.
· Possession of (or ability to obtain) a valid Colorado Driver's License, with an acceptable driving record.
· Strong communication and time management skills with independent decision-making ability.
· Ability to handle fast paced, potentially high-pressure work environment.
· Ability to work at high altitude, and outdoors in extreme weather conditions when moving between buildings.
· Ability to communicate clearly in English - speak and understand verbal and written communications.
· Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds.
· Must be able to work weekends, holidays, some days and some evenings during the Winter Season.
