Job Description
G2 seeks a candidate for an Area Human Resources Manager position in DFW, TX. This position will provide HR Support for all of G2’s Texas locations.
This position would be ideal for an individual with a strong HR and Recruiting Background, including working with a union workforce. The primary focus in this role will be Employee and Client Relations, Training, Compliance, Investigations, Customer Service, and Recruiting support. Travel requirements will be up to 50% for training, investigations, station visits, and start-up activity.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Relevant experience can be substituted for the required education based on one calendar year of experience for one academic year.
•Knowledge of Labor Laws and standards.
•Proven track record of building positive relationships with managers across multiple locations.
•Skilled in the core competencies, including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, retention, training, employee and labor relations, culture, and diversity.
•Advanced communication skills, written and verbal
•Intermediate skills in core competencies, including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, retention, training, employee relations, culture, and diversity.
•Previous ATS Experience
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
•Provide management oversight of HR policies and procedures within assigned areas; support Regional/Area Managers in achieving operational goals through effective HR practices.
•Provide leadership and direction to the field, HR, and counsel representing the company.
•Establish defined FMLA, Worker's Compensation processes, and the management of these processes.
•Analyze and advise the management team on methods and approaches to resolve associate work problems; conduct associate counseling and disciplinary procedures as directed.
•Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills to include Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
•Other functions as assigned.
•Must be able to travel up to 50% with overnight travel
