Department: Marketing & Public Relations
Reports To: SVP of Marketing, PR, and Digital
Location: New York
FLSA: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Archives Intern.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, process, and catalogue all footage of the Empire State Building’s archival documentation in conventional and digital formats
  • Assess and implement archival policies, protocols, and workflows for all ESB materials in conventional and digital formats
  • Create a digital library of all footage for use throughout the organization
  • Provide access to and physical care of archival collections in multiple formats using standard preservation methods and procedures for archival materials
  • Additional projects as directed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in library sciences, archival science or a related field.
