LOCATION: Redmond, WA Hybrid, 3 days onsite
DURATION: 12 months
PAY RANGE: $110-$120/hr
TOP 3 SKILLS:
- Proven experience in procurement, parts list management, and design for manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AR technology and prototyping processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using PLM tools and other relevant software (Teamcenter experience preferred).

Our client is a Fortune 500 multi-national technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement and Vendor Management:
- Source, evaluate, and procure goods and services required for AR prototyping projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project timelines.
- Parts List Management (PLM):
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage comprehensive parts lists for AR prototyping projects.
- Utilize PLM tools to track and update parts information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM):
- Work closely with design teams to incorporate DFM principles during the product development phase.
- Collaborate with suppliers to optimize designs for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
- Supplier Performance Analysis:
- Develop and implement metrics to evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Supply Chain Optimization:
- Analyze supply chain processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Implement best practices in inventory management to minimize excess inventory and optimize stock levels.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on procurement activities, parts list status, and supplier performance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, parts lists, and supplier communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, parts list management, and design for manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AR technology and prototyping processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in using PLM tools and other relevant software (Teamcenter experience preferred).
