About the Role – Senior Technical Program Manager – Security:

This role will be responsible for managing multiple programs and ensuring a highly organized and transparent approach is taken to managing all projects. More specifically, the TPM will work with staff at all levels to build Compliant-by-Design systems by building security into all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). To be successful in this role, you must be able to problem solve, handle change management without stress and pivot quickly. We are actively seeking someone that can show up every day with a positive attitude, give attention to detail, work well with organizational ambiguity and change, and drive cross-functional alignment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Security Architect to develop and maintain Secure Authorization Packages ensuring systems are continuously compliant.
  • Act as the audit liaison for engineering teams translating auditor requests into developer work items using a “Do Once, Use Many” approach.
  • Manage programs for both large & small initiatives; with consideration of risk/mitigation and the implementation of operational efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to adapt to Projects/program of broad scope, interdependent, high risk, high impact within the strategy & operational spaces.
  • Contribute to regular program reviews with executive and senior stakeholders on roadmaps and transparency on progress and identifying blocking issues.
  • Leverage project management tools and techniques to track projects and engineering deliverables.
  • Proactively advocate for and coach others in security concepts and principles.
  • Collaborate with other TPMs to ensure cohesive and prioritized progress against organizational strategy and goals.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Project Management
  • 10+ years of combined experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or project management in the software industry
  • Familiarity with fundamental security concepts required for delivering software in regulated environments such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SOC 2, ISO 27001
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams to design and launch initiatives
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Industry certification(s) in Cybersecurity or Project Management
  • Experienced end-to-end SDLCs delivering SaaS solutions in regulated environments.
  • Practical application of program management methodology including agile at scale
  • Ability to build and maintain open and collaborative relationships with various levels of leadership
  • Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment with ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Experience handling changing priorities and using good judgment when working in stressful situations
  • Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives
  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, and other Microsoft Office applications

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is  $135,400.00 to $216,600.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a completion bonus. Moody’s also offers insurance and a discounted employee stock purchase plan for limited duration employees.
