Position Summary...
ARL Bio Pharma is the leading pharmaceutical quality assurance and testing laboratory in the nation with a stellar reputation for quality, integrity and scientific excellence.
This position is responsible for managing and collection of outstanding accounts receivable from clients.
The Company is subject to certain federal regulations and directives regarding a drug free workplace. Because of the Company’s federal obligations and directives, as an employee of an analytical laboratory such as ARL Bio Pharma Inc., you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana.
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Essential Functions...
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent accounts as well as records of any payments collected from the customer.
- Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and declined credit card follow-up.
- Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail.
- Send monthly statements and reports.
- Credit reference requests.
- Maintaining credit holds and check credit.
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
- Collect data and prepare monthly metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements...
- Minimum of high school diploma with 2+ years working experience
- Experience in accounting including accounts receivable, collections.
- Experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Sense of urgency
- Communication Proficiency
- Detail oriented
- Organized and focused individual
- Works well with others
- Good listening skills
- Work under pressure with ability to remain calm and pleasant
- Ability to learn company services and information systems quickly

This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands...
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
