Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Appointment Coordinator. As an Appointment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing appointments and providing administrative support. Requires a comfort level with technology, working with apps and problem solving to make sure all visits are scheduled and covered.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in scheduling numerous part time sitters and walkers with constantly changing availability, for visits to numerous working or traveling clients, in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to provide back up and emergency petsitting services a plus.
Duties:
- Schedule and confirm visits to clients; schedule contractors to cover all of the visits using our comprehensive scheduling system
Communicate with sitters to confirm availability and assist with finding back up when needed.
- Respond to requests for services. Potentially onboard new clients into the system.
- Onboard, maintain and update client information as necessary.
- Assist with client and sitter tasks primarily through our system.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and sitter contractors.
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a professional office or delivery setting.
- Familiarity and experience with pet care is highly desirable, and an energetic and positive approach to our business is required-we all love what we do and you will be at the center of the day to day activities, connecting everyone to each other.
- Proficiency in using scheduling systems is a must.
- Strong computer and technology skills are required, some social media exposure helpful.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
