Applications Development Technical Senior Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Senior Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Plan and direct Information Technology (IT) activities to drive core components of risk analytics including Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review regulatory initiatives and internal scenario-based stress testing. Collaborate with risk managers to identify business needs to design and provide technology solutions such in ECS Container services, J2EE platform components and application frameworks. Perform application programming using Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, React JS, & ExtJS, technologies based on OOP (Object Oriented Programming), and FP (Functional Programming) as necessary, in Standalone, Intranet, and Client Server Architecture. Responsible for the migration of this technology platform to leverage Cloud Architecture, and ensure that the platform is consistent with all Citi standards regarding components and versions used. Responsible for big data technology design and architecture using big data eco systems including Hadoop, Spark, RDD, Data Frames, & Python. Responsible for application security and vulnerability management, managing application libraries, software, security, and vulnerability and release processes. Make changes to algorithms, prepare ad-hoc models using the Markets Quantitative Analytics (MQA) Toolkit, and other technologies such as SAS, as required by the business. Demonstrate this to the business, and implement the models in controlled technology platform. Resolve technical issues, provide support to troubleshoot production issues, deploy changes, and research and evaluate new technologies. Interpret architecture, design solutions, take ownership and accountability for the deliverables in all phases of the development lifecycle, provide technical leadership to junior programmers to brainstorm and conduct code review. Support the quality assurance team during the product test phase. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Senior Application Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related position involving software development for finance or risk-management applications. Must have 5 years of experience with Core Java & J2EE; Spring framework; Front-end technologies (HTML, Ext JS); Big data technology design & architecture; Database Technologies (Sybase, Oracle); Cloud architecture; Application management; Risk analytics; and Application security & vulnerability management.
