Maintaining the Meter Solution Cloud Service (MSCS) application. Provide assistance maintaining the Command Center application and Distribution Mesh Communication Network. Responsibilities include serving as the functional lead for MSCS, which includes monitoring the system daily, running reports daily/weekly/monthly and further automating current processes. Assist and backup the functional lead for Command Center and assist in automating processes tied to both Command Center and the Mesh Network. Monitor the performance of the Meter Solutions Cloud Service (MSCS) application to insure the integrity of the meter data being transferred. Maintain various meter groups to insure meters are added or removed as needed. Coordinate with application vendor for upgrades and maintenance as needed. Provide data analysis for analytics dashboards and reports as needed/requested.Essential Job Tasks:Monitor Meter Solution Cloud Service (MSCS) application.Monitors MSCS daily to ensure meters are reporting data correctly, especially those billed on interval reads.Review batch processes, data extracts and exceptions to ensure the integrity of the data within this application.Investigates issues with other systems integrated with MSCS, like CC&B, Command Center, GE PowerOn and MV90. Creates reports and automate processes to more efficiently manage MSCS.Assists Customer Service Reps with billing issues.Guides and direct others to monitor MSCS.Trains new users and serves as the point of contact for MSCS data questions throughout the company.Monitors Command Center application.Monitors Command Center daily to ensure meters are reporting data correctly into the head-end system.Reviews alerts and alarms and investigate as needed.Creates field activities for field technicians to investigate.Runs reports for various meter groups to add/delete meters as system configurations change.Creates reports and automate processes to more efficiently manage Command Center.Monitors MESH network communications.Reviews status and events associated with network devices, like collectors, routers and cap bank radios, to ensure optimal network communication.Assists other groups, like Distribution SCADA, with trouble shooting devices that communicate on the MESH network (cap banks, EOL meters and line sensors).Creates reports and automate processes to more efficiently manage the MESH Network.Recommends solutions to enhance network performance.Guides and directs others to monitor Command Center.Trains new users and serves as the point of contact for Command Center questions throughout the company.Assists Customer Service Representative with any Remote commands (connect/disconnect, etc.) during the day.Education: Bachelor's DegreeEmployment Type: Full-Time Regular
