TheApplication Specialist, ERP is a member of our IT team who works collaboratively with all functional departments to solve business needs and provide solutions to run, grow, and transform the business. You will create and maintain highly optimized solutions that adhere to company and security standards. You will address the health and maintenance of all types of applications as well as the integration points between those applications.
What you'll be doing:
- Analyze and troubleshoot ERP system issues reported by end users.
- Analyze and streamline business processes; create, maintain, and develop Business Activity Queries (BAQs), Business Process Management (BPMs), screen modifications, dashboards, SSRS reports and data files to support sales, operations, finance and other business units.
- Participate in ERP conversions and updates; create and implement user acceptance testing for upgrades and design changes; contribute to projects involving implementation, testing, designing, upgrading, and changing ERP applications.
- Initiate improvements on proper processing and recommendations of product usage.
- Provide backup and support to other IT staff on installation, maintenance and updates to hardware and software.
- Collaborate and execute on IT business projects that enable the company's growth and evolution.
- Develop IT solutions to business problems and value-added initiatives on the Project Portfolio driving innovation for the company.
- Test designed solutions with business partners to ensure successful implementation.
- Collaborate and execute functional and technical application roadmaps with associated topologies, business capabilities, and benefits.
- Maintain third party integration services.
- Adhere to security protocols in all areas of IT in compliance with industry-standard frameworks; execute and adhere to Digital Safety and Security plans, including digital privacy compliance.
- Tier 1 and 2 escalation point on all ERP application-related issues.
- Collaborate with all vendors and contractors performing Application services work.
- Solve Incidents in a timely and service-oriented manner; determine root cause of incidents and offer preventative solutions; escalate to next level IT for support after root cause analysis complete or if skill set prevents resolution.
- Support and execute Application services in alignment with ITIL/Service Management.
- Model, train, and support the ITIL/Service Management discipline within IT organization.
- Execute on Merger & Acquisition strategies.
- Support IT Supplier Management Office policies and practices.
- Associate's degree or 3+ years of working experience in IT required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Entry level experience in programming using SQL, C#, Java, PowerShell
- Entry level experience in report development using SSRS, Crystal Reports
- Epicor ERP experience preferred
- Entry level experience with relational databases, experience in MS SQL Server preferred
- Visual Studio experience preferred
