Job Summary and Qualifications

The Application Developer will analyze, design, and implement complex database and web applications to support Parallon/HCA Healthcare development solutions. The developer should have the ability to review requirements and craft technical design documentation that allows for future scalability, interoperability, and reduced maintenance. The developer should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to establish effective working relationships and manage multiple priorities. This role will perform any technical project assignments with the assistance of Senior and Consulting Application Engineers. The developer must be able to identify, investigate, evaluate and become proficient in new technologies and technical disciplines that are of significance to Parallon.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical

Understand business/technical requirements and how they translate to new application features

Design, develop and test internal Parallon web applications and automations

Design and code software and web pages from concept to finished product, in order to meet the needs of Parallon HIM operations.

System analysis, design, development & support of MS SQL Server

Work independently completing simple, moderate and complex programming tasks, as well as leading development efforts

Identify, develop and implement process improvements to support HCA’s Lean initiatives and Agile development

Utilize version control tools, such as, GitHub.

Communication/Documentation

Responsible for communicating via multiple media, including but not limited to conference calls, in person participation and via written documentation across audiences with varying levels of technical expertise

Create and maintain technical specifications, technical documentation, application architecture documentation and support documentation

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION

Associate's Degree - Preferred

EXPERIENCE

1 or more year(s) of experience in specifically related responsibilities - Required

Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience could be considered

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Experience with Windows Server 2019, 2022 - Required
• HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, (T)SQL, C#/.NET, PowerShell - Required
• Document management skills and competency in Microsoft Office Suite - Required
• Knowledge of Active Directory and access management - Required
• Software deployment, server maintenance and problem resolution experience - Required
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a team - Required
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and strengthening relationships - Required
• Detail oriented and analytical with good organization skills - Required
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment – Required
• Strong problem and issue resolution skills - Required
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization - Required
• Highly motivated and be able to work on an independent project with little supervision - Required
• Experience creating quality deliverables - Required

• Experience building full stack web application (C#, SQL Server 2019/2022, HTML,CSS, JavasScript, Bootstrap) - Required
