Job Description Summary: Under limited supervision, define processes, and create project level architectures for specific applications. Working with business and data architects, evaluate products and projects to ensure congruency with strategic initiatives and industry trends. Provide technical advice to resolve production problems.

• Liaison to our Enterprise Architect (EA) Role on Pattern Adoption (CMD, View, Outer Edge, Gateway)
• Liaison for Solution Architecture (SA) and Domain/Portfolio Arch (DA) point of Contact
• Logical to physical application design guidance/framework awareness
• Focal point for feedback to EA, SA, DA, Platform, SaaS
• Sequencing of App Arch Deliverables - Visualization & Business Value
• App Arch Visualizations of Component flow to assist App Dev when creating/delivering Stories
• API Contract DNA & Testing patterns into Swagger Hub using OpenAPI spec
• FedEx Cloud Dojo point of contact / focal
• GitHub Discussions focal/advocate/contributor
• Available as DEV SWAT resource / Phone a friend for the Dev Team
• Establishment of CI/CD/CT Cadence using autobahn pipelines
• Attending/Guiding Scrum team Demo of solution
• Attend/Influence Release Planning Events (PIPE)
• Escalation point for Blockers (UX Design, Product Owner deficiency, Cadence issues)
• Mentor Devs in Cloud Native Build and Technical Tenants
• Assist in Promoting TDD (test driven development)
• Awareness to and creator of Enabler epics/feature/stories as needed
• Validation of ecosystem and component scaling, throttling, protecting service
• Creation and Tuning of Feature Flags and configuration automation with awareness to system symbolic automation
• Orchestration of app monitoring and logging best practices (AppD, Splunk, etc.)
• Lead Dev Skills Enablement Assessment 2x2 for Team Improvement
• Contact and escalation point for Developer Lead role
• Tactical - Keeping your own Core Development Skills honed/practiced (10%-40%)

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

• This candidate will support applications/systems that utilize a wide variety of technologies.
• This candidate will support applications/ systems that utilize JAVA, Angular, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of data storage approaches, there benefits and drawbacks: RDBMS, NoSQL, Columnar Database.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $9,475.00 - $12,147.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
