As a non emergency medical transportation driver, you will be helping people get to and from their health appointments. You'll be onboarded as a 1099 subcontractor. Responsibilities:
- Driver must be willing to assist door to door members (may include heavy equipment lifting).
- Have a sense of urgency and be responsive towards our members
- Have a positive attitude with great interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Great awareness, mapping, and time management skills
- Maintain confidentially and practice caution and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Independent with great personal management skills, organized, and able to problem solve
Requirements:
- Pass health drug screen (randoms included)
- Reliable ambulatory vehicle (Must be a 4-door vehicle, NO trucks allowed).
- Must pass Defensive Driving Course and be CPR and First-Aid certified.
- Own a smart phone device and able to navigate driver app.
- Perform and complete all assigned trips
- All NEMT subcontractors are required to have a clean background check
- Clean driving record (no DUI, DWI, OWI, OUI). Must have less than two traffic violations within the past three years. Must have had less than one vehicle accident within the past two years.
